FAQ - Vacuum Purging

During solvent extraction--Vacuum Purging, is an essential & finely-tuned process--that once perfected, can produce the finest top-quality concentrates.

During this process, very low vacuum pressures are necessary to allow all the residual solvents to leave the dense concentrate.  These low pressures also cause the terpenes to be removed as they vaporize into the oven air, and are sucked into the vacuum system.!!

The terpenes enter the vacuum pump where they can cause damage to the pump, and buildup residues over time. Typically resulting in the need for frequent pump servicing, or worse early vacuum pump failure!

Our Terpene Traps™ collect all these fabulous fragrant compounds, and return them as a separate new product!!
